satori method

A movement language born from the creation of the SATORI film.
SATORI Method is a movement-somatic practice developed by Ella Semo, emerging directly from the choreographic research behind her award-winning dance film SATORI.

The method is built on seven energetic “gates,” each reflecting a fundamental state of contraction, release, shadow, clarity, fragmentation, renewal, and inner coherence.

The SATORI Method invites participants into:
• Guided improvisation
• Breath and somatic grounding
• Embodied awareness
• Intuitive movement and inner listening

It is an artistic practice - a space where movement arises from truth, softness, and the intelligence of the body.

What the SATORI Method offers:
• A return to natural movement
• Somatic grounding and emotional clarity
• Presence through the body
• Creative flow and embodied expression
• A poetic, intuitive approach to dance and consciousness

The method offers a deep movement language for dancers, movers, performers, and creators seeking to access presence, authenticity, and embodied expression.
